What this tool checks

Domains, IP addresses and ASNs are routed through IANA bootstrap to an authoritative RDAP service. A controlled registry WHOIS referral is used only when RDAP cannot answer.

How to read the result

Use source, object kind, events, nameservers and status descriptions together. Expiration is reported only when the registry supplies a parseable date; redacted contacts are not treated as missing registration.

Common problems

Registry clocks, privacy redaction and registry-specific statuses can differ. WHOIS is unstructured fallback data and should not be parsed as if every registry used the same fields.
